There are 56 Tarot cards in the Minor Arcana that are divided into 4 suits known as Wands, Pentacles, Swords and Cups. There are 10 cards and 4 Court Cards – Page, Knight, Queen and King - in each suit.

While the Major Arcana deals with the greater factors of life, the Minor Arcana fills the gaps in between and tell us what we think and feel, and what to do about it.

They represent our daily life, our thoughts, ideas and feelings. They also show the people around us and our relationship with them. They can indicate specific situations and events, and the actions we take.  

 

Both Major Arcana and Minor Arcana are equally important as they make up the pattern of our life’s story.
